She?s working on her personal problems in a rehab facility these days, but Demi Lovato may be looking at the inside of a courtroom in the months to come.
The Disney darling is reportedly the target of a lawsuit that will be filed by Alex Welch, a dancer that she allegedly punched while out on tour.
Welch?s attorney Donald Karpel told press, "We will be filing a lawsuit next week. We will be seeking punitive damages for assault, battery and for mental stress."
He continued, "We are exploring all of our options right now. After the attack, Alex had to get emergency treatment. She is now consulting a Beverly Hills ears, nose and throat plastic surgeon. "
