"Teen Mom" Amber Portwood Hit with Felony Charges

Making headlines for all of the wrong reasons, "Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood has officially been charged with felony domestic violence.

Reports tell that the TV personality was nailed with two felony counts of domestic battery, one misdemeanor domestic battery count and one felony count of neglect of a dependent stemming from multiple incidents in which she beat the father of her child, Gary Shirley, with the little one watching on.

Miss Portwood's charges were put forth by the Madison County Prosecutor's Office on Monday (December 27).

With some of the nastiness being captured on video, Amber is looking at the possibility of up to three years behind bars and $10,000 in fines if convicted of the charges.

Kate Gosselin's Post-Christmas Color Up

Back home after a Philadelphia filming excursion, Kate Gosselin was spotted on a post-Christmas outing in Reading, PA on Monday (December 27).

Bundled up for the wintry weather, the TLC reality star mom chatted on her cell phone before heading into a local tanning salon for a holiday fake bake session.

And while Miss Gosselin is still earning a living with her "celebrity" status, her ex-husband Jon Gosselin recently is said to have landed a "real" job.

Talking to PopEater, an insider tells, "Jon is very close with Jill Zarin from 'Real Housewives of New York'. It was Jill who told Jon to stay out of the spotlight and get himself a real job. Fame is fun but doesn't pay the bills."

Having earned a job working for a real estate developer, the PopEater source adds, "Jon is in a great place. He is happy and knows what a fool he made of himself after his split from Kate. He has been getting a lot of TV offers, including interest from 'Dancing With the Stars,' and has turned them all down. If he never sees a TV camera again in his life it will be too soon."

Lady Gaga is kicking 2011 off with a bang. The singer shared with her little monsters that, come New Year's Eve, she will have a special announcement for her loyal fans about her upcoming album, Born This Way.

She tweeted over the weekend: "Merry Christmas little monsters! I love you with all my heart. My gift to you is a BORN THIS WAY announcement Midnight on NEW YEARS EVE. -MM."

The Mother Monster didn't reveal anything else about the announcement but did react to a fan-made video sending Christmas love to the superstar. "This is so darling!" she wrote. "You make me so happy, Im sending you monster kisses!"

Gaga had always planned to end 2010 on a high note. She shared with Rolling Stone back in June that she had every intention of making an announcement on New Year's Eve, even if what she had planned to announce was pre-empted. "I think I'm gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo," she said of her plans six months ago. "I've been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it's finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years; I don't. I write music every day."

Since she already revealed her album title at the VMAs, what she plans to announce on New Year's Eve is a mystery, but we're sure her fans are counting down the moments.

Gaga recently shared that the album will be her "most innovative." A single is expected in February, and the album will follow shortly thereafter.

"[The album is] a marriage of electronic music with major, epic, dare I even say, metal or rock and roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats," Gaga said. "I think that lyrically this album is more poetic ... It's really written by the fans, they really wrote it for me because every night they're funneling so much into me. So I wrote it for them. Born This Way is all about my little monsters and me, mother monster."

What do you think Gaga will unveil on New Year's Eve? Share your guesses in the comments!

For those wondering what the deal is with Britney Spears' next album, her manager, Adam Leber, tweeted an update about the princess of pop's musical endeavors as she works on the follow-up to 2008's Circus.

"Brit is recording a big big BIG new song on Friday with #MaxMartin & @TheDrLuke. I'm pretty sure it's a smash!" he wrote. Leber recently said that the album would sound "progressive" and that ''it'll be a departure from what you've heard" in the past.

Dr. Luke retweeted Leber's message, as well as this update for all the Britney fans out there: "Please continue to wait 4 Britney's new song!!!!" Luke worked with Spears on her "Circus" track for her last album.

As for Martin, he and Spears have a long history of making music together, having worked on "3," "... Baby One More Time" and "If U Seek Amy."

"She's such an icon, I don't want to let anyone down," Dr. Luke recently shared about working with Britney, who is expected to release music sometime in early 2011. "But most importantly, I want to make good music ... I'm excited to be co-executive producing with Max Martin, the person who kind of invented Britney, and to make good music. And she's such an amazing vehicle to getting that music out to a lot of people in every country."

Spears has also hit the studio with producer Danja, who worked on her song "Gimme More." He explained, "I'm definitely gonna do my part and try to make it hard-hitting, up-tempo, high-energy. That's what I think we need and that's what I'm gonna shoot for."
